If you have all the documents in place, then you can definitely register it legally. There shouldn’t be a problem unless it is in accordance with the local authority’s construction guidelines.
Here’s the list of documents that is needed while registration:
a. Proof of ownership
b. Certified copy of original old sale deed or assessment of MC or Mutation
c. Proof of identification
d. Ration Card, Voter ID, Driving License, Aadhaar Card, PAN Card or Identity Card
e. Verification of GPA from where it has been registered in case it has been registered out of state only
f. NOC
g. ID Proof of two witness parties
h. Map plan and description of immovable property
i. Digital photograph of property (building or plot)
