All thanks to online real estate websites, selling a plot in India these days has become quite easy. Selling an open plot depends on three main factors: Location (connectivity, infrastructure and other major factors), Demand and Supply and Return on Investment. So here are a few tricks and tips to sell your plot: 1. You need to keep a check/track of sale of similar plots in your locality. Analyze the buyers and sellers mindset and what you should offer and expect. Do a good research and get the correct value of your plot. 2. You should be up to date about land zoning, development plans prepared by local authority if any in your area, any new developments coming in your area. You can prepare a list as well which will include the advantages of your plot of land as compared to other lands in your locality. If there are any cons, try to come up with a solution to correct it, if possible. 3. Always try to put yourself in someone else’s shoe. This means, put yourself in the place of the buyer and think how much you would spend on this property. What improvement or additional things you wish this property would have and so on. Then imply that while selling the property. 4. After all the analysis, advertise your property either online by listing it on realty websites or in local newspapers (classified). Give as much information as possible so that you get genuine buyers!
