At my home, evening snacks are incomplete without the whole family sitting together and watching TV. But it is very important to place the TV correctly. But what should be the TV direction as per Vastu? 

Having consulted many Vastu experts, here are the most Vastu compliant directions for placing a Television in different rooms.

The most ideal direction for a TV is the southeast direction in the living room. A television kept in this direction in the living room tends to bring positive energy in the house. Members of the house prosper with success and growth. 

Keeping that in mind, there are certain directions that must be avoided while placing a TV in the living room. Avoid the southwest direction as it is said that TV kept in this direction tends to break a lot and the members of the house spend a lot of time in front of the TV. Along with that, the northeast and the southwest directions should also be avoided while placing TV in the living room. They tend to block the inflow of positive energy in the house. Also, the northeast direction is said to hold the most auspicious value in Vastu, hence it should not be blocked by a Television as it will eventually block the positive vibrations.

• Orient the TV in the space so that it remains parallel to the east wall.

• A TV should never be placed in front of the home's entrance. A TV in front of the door, according to Vastu, brings negative energy into the home and causes discord among family members.

• In the event that the bedroom has a TV, cover the screen while you're asleep. If you don't do this, there will be a serious flaw and there may be conflict in the home as a result.
