Depending on your budget, here are a few options in and around Mumbai for real estate investment:
Mira Road
Located in the north-western part of Maharashtra, Mira Road is a part of Thane district and comes under Mumbai Metropolitan Region. You can reach central Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai pretty quickly from Mira Road.
The property prices in and around Mira Road ranges from Rs. 6000 to 8000 per sq ft.
Ulwe
Ulwe is located in the Raigad district and a part of Panvel city. Ulwe comes under Panvel Municipal Corporation and has good connectivity to Navi Mumbai’s metro project. The property prices Ulwe ranges from Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 7,000 per sq ft. It is seen that the average property prices have risen by 3%-4% in the last quarter.
Karjat
Karjat is another area in the Raigad district. It comes under Mumbai Metropolitan city and is well connected to Panvel and Mumbai by road. The property prices in Karjat is around Rs. 3400 to 4326 per sq ft. It is observed that prices have increased a good 7% in the recent past.
