You can find a reasonable place to stay in sector 54 itself. If you are open to sharing the accommodation, you can check out Suncity society (awesome society with lavish apartments). The rent for a 3 BHK in Suncity is around 35K and if you share the flat with more than 4 people, it will fit in your budget.
If you don’t want to share the room and want a room (1 RK) for yourself then you can check out regular apartments or standalone buildings (try choosing a gated community for your security). You will easily find a place in such apartments for 10K or less.
There are several options in and around Sector 54, Gurgaon where you can find a 1 RK for 10-12K per month. Check out small gated societies or standalone buildings in the lane next to sector 54 metro. Another option is that you can opt to stay in a PG. There are a few buildings made specifically for renting out 1 room kitchen Apartments. You can check out NoBroker to find flatmates as well as PGs in Gurgaon and other parts of the country.
